I am so happy to be connected to Massachusetts again. My parents and relatives all lived in Revere, and I spent my childhood playing stickball on Dana Street and going to Revere Beach.

As you may have heard about and seen in our recent rendering, we want to develop a luxury resort in your community on the Mystic River. We have a vision of Everett that involves taking a piece of land, which has perfect access to the river, and filling it with an elegant hotel, fine dining and casual restaurants, and a meeting and convention facility. We will also develop a river walk with water taxis and retail esplanade featuring regional specialty shops. We plan to call our development Wynn Everett.

What excites me most about this project is what it will mean for residents of Everett. At the end of the day, while beautiful buildings and fancy interiors matter, this is all about people. It’s about the people who will work there, the people who will visit, and most important, the people of Everett who will be our neighbors and who will experience the benefits of our resort.

  • Tax revenues will increase. Our annual payments to Everett will be millions of dollars a year which can be used to lower taxes and improve schools.
  • Local business will prosper from the indirect revenue generated by the resort and the hundreds of millions of dollars in new salaries we will create.
  • Partnerships will develop with the community. In each of the communities that we operate, we support those nonprofit organizations that improve the lives of our employees and their families.
